What will my clients think?

"Clients often ask this question when they first consider using our service. Talking to some of the clients on our reference lists may help allay your concerns. In reality, Receivable Financing, or Factoring, is a positive statement to many of your customers because not all companies can qualify.

Receivable financing is used by very large corporations and the service is provided by the largest banks and financial institutions in the world. Until recently, only companies generating at least a million dollars of sales each month could qualify for this service. In the past, factors simply would not bother with smaller companies or companies producing large numbers of invoices per month. Because this service has not been available to small and medium sized companies, your customers should see this as a positive ability to secure receivables financing, not as a problem with cash flow.

Companies like Shell Oil, Georgia Pacific and IBM, to name a few well-known companies, factor many millions of dollars each year. Certainly, we don't view these companies as having problems. Factoring is most often used to expand and take on larger projects, not just for cash flow or payroll. With the availability of the service to other companies, the perception is not negative. It is a sign of growth.

Many companies already deal with Factors but are not aware of it. Often invoices directing to a P.O. Box are actually being sent to a Factor. You may be surprised to learn how many of your customers have already been exposed to receivables financing. In reality receivables financing is an established and powerful financial tool that has been a part of the banking industry for hundreds of years.

Our paperwork does not use the work Factoring anywhere. We speak only of a credit line based on your receivables. Our letter of introduction and explanation is on your letterhead. You don't have to fund all of your receivables or all the receivables from one client.

When we contact your customers to verify invoices, we mention that you have received an unlimited credit line based upon your receivables and that is the purpose of the call. Receivables Financing is most often used for growth and our communication with your customer mentions only your rapid expansion.

You are welcome to discuss this service with your customer before entering into a relationship with us. The relationship is non-binding. If a customer objects, you may stop at any time.
